English as a Second Language (ESL)

At Madina Academy, we offer a comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program for students whose first language is not English. Our program is designed to help students develop essential language skills in:

• Speaking
• Reading
• Writing
• Listening and comprehension

Through personalized instruction and support, students gain the confidence and proficiency needed to achieve their academic and future career goals.

English proficiency is an important requirement for earning the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and for pursuing post-secondary education at colleges and universities across Ontario.

Students are placed in the appropriate ESL level based on an assessment of their reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. The ESL program consists of the following levels:

• ESL A
• ESL B
• ESL C
• ESL D
• ESL E

Upon successful completion of the ESL program, students can transition into the regular English curriculum at either the Academic or Applied level, preparing them for college, university, and future success.

French Tutoring

In addition to ESL instruction, Madina Academy also provides French tutoring for students from Grades 4 to 12.

Our French tutoring program helps students strengthen their:

• Reading skills
• Writing skills
• Speaking abilities
• Listening and comprehension skills

Whether students need extra support in the classroom, assistance with homework, or preparation for exams, our experienced tutors provide individualized guidance to help them build confidence and improve their French language proficiency.
